Cristiano Ronaldo's recent interview — in which he criticized Manchester United's management, the club, and former teammates — sparked widespread controversy. Amid the fallout, former Real Madrid teammate Iker Casillas stepped forward to defend him.

"When people talk about Cristiano, they shouldn't forget his achievements so quickly. If you want, I can remind you."

Casillas posted the message on Twitter, adding that Ronaldo would continue to accomplish great things. He expressed a desire to always have Ronaldo on his team, stating that the Portuguese forward is capable of performing at the highest level and described him as outstanding — "超群绝伦," a phrase meaning peerless or beyond compare.

The interview, conducted by British broadcaster Piers Morgan, was scheduled to air in two parts on Wednesday and Thursday. Morgan had teased that further surprising revelations were still to come in the full broadcast.
