A few faves from a mini Christmas family photoshoot I've shot a few weeks ago for my ading, Jason, and his growing family at The Westin Hotel. When I say mini, I mean boom-boom-done in 30 minutes. Boom. We were that eager to get the business outta the way and get down to the real 'business', which involves plenty of catching up over food, food, food at food-worthy places like nostalgic ol' college stomping grounds of Pluckers and the ramen soul food goodness of Ramen Tatsuya. (Last I saw Jason + Tracy was in Seattle 2009? At their own wedding? That's a really long time!) Quality time with close friends and family, or friends who are practically like family, are the bestest, innit? Which is why I was uber honored when Jason + Tracy asked me to snap their family pix for this year's Christmas cards. Jason and I go way back. College, oh, some 12 years ago. And to this day I can honestly say that Jason is one of a handful of close guy friends who I can call 'brother'. So heck yah I'd do anything for besties who've stuck around that long! Looking forward to seeing the final Christmas card product real soon, y'all!
By the way, you can't tell, but Tracy is totally baking something sweet in that oven. Baby #2 due in March 2014! I'm going to be a ninang ... again!
besos ... jin.
